Management / Cost Accountant
Location: donnelly fresh foods, Snugborough Road Blanchardstown, D15
Working hours – Monday to Friday 9.00am– 5.30pm

The ideal candidate will be organised, self – motivated, ambitious, a good communicator with problem solving abilities. The candidate will also be flexible and adaptable to meet the company’s needs. A team player who is also able to work on their own initiative, with good time management skills. An awareness of cultural diversity is also required.
Relationships:
- Reports to the Financial Controller
- Have a close working relation with NPD, Production, Procurement and Sales teams.
- Engage with production team to ensure costings are accurate and kept up to date.
Main duties & responsibilities:
- Preparation of weekly KPI’s
- Prepare Budgets and forecasts.
- Assist with month end process.
- Manage new costings and maintain all existing costings for any changes.
- Report on Margin of products by customer/category.
- Assist with year-end audit.
- Ad hoc financial work as required by the needs of the business.
- Ongoing development and review of internal controls and processes
Competencies / Skills:
- Managing complexity in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent Excel skills
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Ability to muti-task and prioritize.
- Very strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical mind set with a problem-solving attitude.
- Ability to work closely with other teams.
- Experience implementing an ERP system would be a distinct advantage.
Education & Experience:
- Qualified / Part Qualified (ACCA / ACA)
- 1-2 years’ experience minimum, ideally within manufacturing
