Management / Cost Accountant

Location:  donnelly fresh foods, Snugborough Road Blanchardstown, D15

Working hours – Monday to Friday 8.00am– 4.30pm

The ideal candidate will be organised, self – motivated, ambitious, a good communicator with problem solving abilities.  The candidate will also be flexible and adaptable to meet the company’s needs. A team player who is also able to work on their own initiative, with good time management skills. An awareness of cultural diversity is also required.


  • Reports to the Financial Controller
  • Have a close working relation with NPD, Production, Procurement and Sales teams.
  • Engage with production team to ensure costings are accurate and kept up to date.

Main duties & responsibilities:

  • Preparation of weekly KPI’s
  • Prepare Budgets and forecasts.
  • Assist with month end process.
  • Manage new costings and maintain all existing costings for any changes.
  • Report on Margin of products by customer/category.
  • Assist with year-end audit.
  • Ad hoc financial work as required by the needs of the business.
  • Ongoing development and review of internal controls and processes

  • Managing complexity in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Ability to muti-task and prioritize.
  • Very strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical mind set with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Ability to work closely with other teams.
  • Experience implementing an ERP system would be a distinct advantage.


Education & Experience:

  • Qualified / Part Qualified (ACCA / ACA)
  • 1-2 years’ experience minimum, ideally within manufacturing
