Donnelly Fresh Cheese Toasty Recipe

leek & cheese – toasted sandwich

ingredients

Fresh Sourdough Bread
Butter
donnelly fresh Leek and Cheese deli filler

pan method

  • Cut two slices of fresh sourdough bread
  • Butter outside of the two slices
  • On the other side of one of the slices layer on your donnelly fresh Leek and Cheese deli filler
  • Place the other slice on top of this with the buttered side facing out
  • Cook in a heavy based pan on the hob turning occasionally until the cheese inside has melted and the outside is golden brown in colour
  • Place onto a plate, cut in half and enjoy!

air-fryer method

  • Prepare the sandwich as above
  • Please into the air fryer tray
  • Cook at 180C for approx. 10-15 minutes – turning half way to ensure all sides are toasted and cheese has melted
